Stuck on my Narrative

For my English class, I need to start writing a personal or fictional narrative. I want to start out with the personal narrative, but I have no idea what to write about. Sure, there have been plenty of things, even crazy things that have happened to me, but what can I really write an interesting paper on? I don't want to go too sad but I don't want to go too happy either. I need to figure it out soon though, because the first draft is due this Friday! Calling on the writing gods to help me with this one! (I'll probably actually just talk to my mom for ideas...)

Finally the weekend!

It's finally the weekend and it thrills me very much to say so. My plan is to get as much homework done as possible so I can go out and have fun with my friends and not have that on my mind. My weekends usually consist of going to my friend's houses or staying home and watching "How I Met Your Mother" or any other TV show I'm currently obsessed with. Right now I have some chocolate milk and my Sudoku puzzle book so I'm set for the time being. Hopefully soon, I'll be able to have bonfires with friends and go to October fests because fall is finally here! I love the cold so I can cuddle up in a blanket and drink hot cocoa. So, I'm definitely looking forward to that.

The Ups and Downs of English 1050

Well, my English 1050 class is once a week every Friday, which isn't too bad. Except that it's three hours long. I understand that we have to fit two class periods into one day, but, for me personally, it's very hard to sit still for three hours at a time. Especially in a classroom. But the two classes that I've had so far actually haven't been that bad. I'm finding myself actually interested in the topic, and excited for this particular class. Even though we get more homework at once, we have a whole week to do it (and procrastinate)! I actually like to read and write, so I'm hoping this class will strengthen those skills! We had to make a blog for the class (hence, me writing this post now) which I thought would be a lot of extra work, but I actually found myself getting distracted with the layout of my page. So, enjoy the trees in my background. 

My Introduction!

My name is Madison Pierce and I'm a freshman at Western Michigan University! I go by either Madison or Maddie, I don't really care. I'm currently undecided, but my goal is to get into the College of Fine Arts and study something music/art related. I love music and I love art so basically its the best of both worlds. As a person I would describe myself as open minded, caring, and hardworking. I can be pretty laid back, but I can also be pretty outgoing, especially when I'm with my friends. I won't get too deep into who I am, but this is just a basic overview of who I am!
