The Ups and Downs of English 1050
Well, my English 1050 class is once a week every Friday, which isn't too bad. Except that it's three hours long. I understand that we have to fit two class periods into one day, but, for me personally, it's very hard to sit still for three hours at a time. Especially in a classroom. But the two classes that I've had so far actually haven't been that bad. I'm finding myself actually interested in the topic, and excited for this particular class. Even though we get more homework at once, we have a whole week to do it (and procrastinate)! I actually like to read and write, so I'm hoping this class will strengthen those skills! We had to make a blog for the class (hence, me writing this post now) which I thought would be a lot of extra work, but I actually found myself getting distracted with the layout of my page. So, enjoy the trees in my background.

Totally agree with you about the three hour class comments, I had a felling that the whole three hour thing would be difficult. But I had no other choice because all the other English classes were full which frustrates me.
ReplyDeleteWhat you said about English being a three hour class is completely true. Even though the class is interesting I start to get fidgety, yet I've never really been able to sit still for 3 hours anyway. I do kinda wish it wasn't so early in the morning.
