My Monday (Thursday) Post

Well, this Thanksgiving break was not the best. My step mom has been fighting a battle with cancer since this last May, and this Thanksgiving morning she passed away. It was expected but completely unexpected at the same time. Not to make a very sad blog post, but it is a big thing going on in my life right now. Last night was her memorial service. She was cremated and her urn is so awesome and perfect for her! She loved riding her Harley Davidson with my dad so they got an urn with a motorcycle statue on it. It's been hard, but I've been through this before with my step dad, who passed away about 6 years ago of brain cancer. It takes time, but eventually it get easier as life goes on. I just worry about my siblings. I've lost step parents, but I've never lost a biological parent. Anyways, I am definitely ready for this semester to be over and to have a nice winter break! Just want some normal again, and some real relaxing time.
